Lower 40 Ranch offers a unique camp program combining education with recreation for a thoroughly enjoyable and uplifting experience. Children ages ten through fifteen have the opportunity to participate in numerous activities aimed at helping them to gain an appreciation for nature, increase their self confidence, and develop skills that can help them throughout their lives.
The youth participating in this program have the opportunity to experience nature in an up close and personal manner. Children work with farm animals (cows, sheep, horses, pigs) and can hand feed fallow deer. Ocassionally a falconer is brougt in to show his birds of prey, including a falcon, hawk, and even an eagle.
Six days and nights of adventure await your child. Global Positionning System (GPS) treasure hunts, zip line pulley, hiking, fishing, archery, horseback rides, helicopter flights, ATV rides, geological field trips, and many other activities provide education and enjoyment. In addition, workshops on goal planning, conflict resolution, anger management, and what kids need to succeed are provided.
